How to put on and use a Waist Trainer

When you receive your Waist Trainer you may think it looks small, this is because they are designed to be smaller than your natural waistline in order to give the immediate and prolonged reduction.

The first time putting it on is definitely the hardest. If you think your waist trainer is too small or are unsure of how you're supposed to put it on, follow these instructions:

Wrap the Waist Trainer around your back ensuring its the right way up - the inner brand label should be at the top.

The Waist Trainer should have an approx 5 inch space between it (the opening) before closing. It’s not suppose to touch.

Then you have stretch the sides of the Waist Trainer around you to pull it together and I mean really pull. Starting from the first bottom hook, continue to close the hook and eye clasps working your way up to the top.

You may even need someone to help you put it on the first few times; you pull the sides in whilst they do the hooks up. This is nothing to worry about. If you really struggle try lying on your back to put it on.

If you have lower belly sag or a tummy pouch, be sure to lift your tummy up and push it in as you do the hooks up. If you really struggle try lying on your back to put the Waist Trainer so that the force of gravity can work with you not against you.

Remember the fit of the Waist Trainer is supposed to be snug and tight to give the required compression but should not cause discomfort. You should not feel any pain or pressure on your ribs, nor should you feel short of breath.

With a properly fitted waist trainer, you should see obvious hourglass curves immediately. If it’s too loose and there’s not a noticeable difference in your waistline, you either need a smaller size or a different style.

Like a new pair of shoes, the Waist Trainer needs to be "worn in", so for the first few wears you may start at just a few hours daily and build up the timeframe gradually as you feel more comfortable. It may take some getting used to.

We recommend that you wear your Waist Trainer for up to 8 hours per day, everyday in order to achieve the best results.

The Waist Trainer will become easier to put on over time while still keeping its elasticity and tightness due to design.

When you feel the Waist Trainer is starting to feel loose and not giving the required level of compression, you may find its time to tighten it to the next row of hook & eye closures or buy a smaller size.

Don’t forget to measure your waist again at this point.

The Classic Latex Waist Trainer needs to be worn consistently everyday over the course of a month to have a visible impact.

The Workout Waist Trainer can be worn during your workouts at home or at the gym.

Bear in mind that individual results may vary. You will still need to wear the Waist Trainer after you reach your desired size in order to maintain your new shape. It is advised you wear your trainer 2-4 hours a day or overnight at least 3 times a week to maintain your new shape. Similar to wearing a teeth retainer after having braces.
